BBQ Sliders

This is the perfect meal to liven up ground beef and add a healthy twist to traditional burgers. Serve as mini sliders (bun optional), or make them bigger for family meal.

Serves: 4
Ingredients:
- 1 pound (16 oz) ground beef (80/20 lean-to-fat ratio)
- 1/3 cup of BTB BBQ sauce
- 1 egg
- 1tsp garlic powder
- 1tsp onion powder
- Pepper to taste
- 4 hamburger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, and onion slices (optional toppings)
Instructions:

Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, egg, BBQ sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper. Use your hands to gently mix everything together

Divide the meat into 8 equal portions and form each portion into a slider sized patty

Place the patties on the grill or grill pan and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they're cooked to your desired level of doneness.

Place the buns on the grill or grill pan and lightly toast them for about 30 seconds.

Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a bun, topping with a tablespoon of BBQ sauce, and any additional toppings you like, such as lettuce, tomato, and onion slices.
