Turkey Meatballs in Tomato Sauce

A classic dish that never gets old. Kids will love helping you weigh out the ingredients and dumping them into the mixing bowl. Serve over pasta or for some more fun, serve individual cooked meatballs with sauce in a muffin tin.

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2/3 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup onion finely chopped
  • 1 tbs minced garlic about 3 cloves
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 jar BTB Tomato Sauce


  1. Mix: In a medium bowl place all meatball ingredients and mix until thoroughly combined.
  2. Roll: Roll into 2 inch balls and place in a greased baking dish
  3. Bake: Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 min or until cooked through. While meatballs are cooking, heat tomato sauce.
  4. Serve: Place meatballs into warmed sauce and serve over noodles or your child’s favorite pasta. 

Always cut into age appropriate pieces for your child prior to serving.
